AND...each bedroom has its own bathroom! That means less crazy mornings and easier bedtimes!

 We upgraded this kitchen to have not 1 but 2 full sized fridge/freezers. No one wants to take a break from the fun to go get more supplies, so stock up on your way into town. That breakfast bar is perfect for whipping up pancakes and prepping cold salads for your BBQ.  From crockpots to cookie sheets, we have you covered in this kitchen. We even put in a separate coffee bar for our guests who have to have coffee before they are human in the mornings at the lodge.

 Sometimes you just need to take a break from the heat outside or even the delighted squeals of the pool party raging out on the patio. That's why we made sure our furniture is perfect for reading, having a quiet cup of coffee in the morning, or snuggling up for a movie night. The satellite connected TV can also link up to your tablets and phones for streaming services. The whole house has AC and circulating fans to keep the air moving even on the hottest days.

 Ever book a place that has 6 seats around the table and that’s it? We don’t like that either. That is why we have a built-in sideboard and included the breakfast bar. If everyone wants to eat in the AC, who are we to argue? You can even designate it as the "grown-ups table", "the game table", or the "ice-cream sundae assembly table". Just know that there is a cool place to spend the afternoon when you need it at this lodge!

 Turn our cabana kitchen into your family’s favorite place to be. Overlooking the Pool and BBQ pit, it's the perfect place to whip up sno-cones and margaritas with the Margaritaville Blender, mix and chill your marinades and keep drinks cool while the pool party kicks off. With an exterior flat screen tv, ½ bath, and enough dining room space for everyone, you aren’t going to want to leave.

Are you even on a Texas vacation if you don’t grill out? Time to stoke the coals in the BBQ pit after a long day on the Frio. You can even use the firepit to roast your veggies...or roast up some marshmallows with the kids as the sun goes down. We get twilight visitors like wild rabbits, deer, and sometimes the local peacocks. (You can bring your own BBQ as well, just keep it on the cement!)

Our 15 x 30 pool is just right for drifting on a floaty raft or a competitive round of pool volleyball. Catch some rays in a chaise or lay out on the wide deck surrounding the pool. The basketball court is perfect for getting in some morning hoops or a late night round of HORSE. If relaxing in the lawn is more your speed, we also have horseshoes, tetherball, and washers. You get to relax the way you want! *Kids need to be watched, there is no fence between the pool and the backdoor.*

 Just a quick trip down the road is the Concan Swimming hole. With crystal clear waters and deep swimming areas, it's the perfect place to start your float trip. Getting in is usually $50 a car, but when you stay with us, you have access for FREE! Once you check in, you can pick up your car tags and bracelets for access during your whole stay. It is first come first serve for river space, show up early or send a delegation to set up your on shore home base!
